School And Learning

I just realized that I left out an important part of my life and one of the other MAJOR reasons that I am SO HAPPY lately. *Smiles*. Well, that is because I am starting school on July 7th as well as all of the other amazing turns that my life has taken lately. Haha.

For those of you who don't know, I am in school for paralegal studies but I hope to become an attorney. I want to get a degree to be a paralegal first so that I can get a good paying job while in Law School at a law firm. Therefore, I am doing an associates and THEN my bachelors and THEN Law School. I am starting back up on July 7th and not stopping until I am DONE! Lol. I'm UBER happy about this.

Finally with everything going in the direction that it NEEDS to be and that we WANT it to go, I am sleeping better at night, feeling better and healthier, and just over all a LOT more satisfied with life lately.

So... wish me luck in school! Haha. I'm doing one class over the summer and then it is at least 4 classes a semester until I am toally DONE and in Law School. I will keep you all posted. Again, this girl is ALL smiles. Ha!

Also, hubby and I revisited the discussion about adoption and in light of all of the changes lately and us having very YOUNG and CRAZY pets, we are waiting until we move to Indy for Law School before we adopt a kid, so... we are talking like 3 years or so. I can wait. Besides, it gives us time to get things calmed down with his Ex and get our pets in line. Lol. Ya know? But, it's nice to know that we have a LIFE PLAN and moving, quickly even, at getting it all accomplished. I ADORE my life and MY HUBBY!!!!!! Tehe.

Now, if I could just get some undertime when I need it from work and Hubby could get custody of his son, life would be FANTASTIC and PERFECT! Haha. I'm joking... but a girl can deam right?

Love you all,
Mrs. Heidi Hardin

Everything is a Better Change

Wow! That’s really the best word to describe how incredible my life has been lately and how amazingly happy I have been. *Smiles*. Have you ever heard the song “For Fiona” by No Use for a Name? Well, there is a line in the song that says “Nothing is the same. Everything is a BETTER change”. That’s exactly how I feel. Not only should you listen to the song because it is amazing and the band is just fantabulous. Haha. But, honestly, it is how I feel. Here are all the updates from the past week or so.

First off, on Monday of last week Stacy got a call from his now employer (Haha… he is actually at work there now) saying that he starts today (5/10) and to be there for a physical on Friday. Well, this is the job he REALLY wanted and has wanted to get for about a year now. So, you can only imagine how incredibly excited we were. Tehe. Anyways, the very next day we also not only got a call saying that we were approved for the apartment complex that we wanted to live at but that they had EXACTLY what we wanted (downstairs with a Fireplace) available on July 1st. Obviously, we TOOK it.

Now, this does mean breaking our lease but we talked to our apartment complex here and made arrangements and straightened everything out with them, so it is all going to work out okay. I’m just SO EXCITED.

Bottom line, we are moving on July 1st to the apartment of my DREAMS, Haha, and Hubby now has an incredible job where he will be making more than I am in just 90 days. I’m really happy for him and happy for the direction that our life is going.
Also, we will be having a fenced in backyard and are ALLOWED to have a Mastiff, so… Abby is now here to stay. I’m happy about it, even though I get UBER upset with her at times. But, at least now we will have the money to train her and she will have a place to run and play. It really will be TONS better. I can hardly wait. Not to mention, my Bestie will literally live right across the highway from me. I have missed her. Yeys! I hope we can finally make some time to hang out. I love her.

Lastly, in light of the extra monies we will be having we will also be updating some things around our apartment (like dining room table, new bed for Evan, and MUCH more) as well as making a plan to be out of debt COMPLETELY within one Year from him starting his job. I cannot WAIT for that day. Should be even sooner provided he will be getting bonuses and such, but… we are setting our goals to make sure we WILL reach them. So, overall, we are being UBER responsible and finally got the break in life that we needed. Praise Jesus!!!!!!

I finally feel like I am moving from “young adulthood” to being an ACTUAL adult and I love it. Finally!

Well, I love you all but it’s time to eat some food and spend some time with my lovely furbabies. Haha.

Much Love,
Mrs. Heidi Hardin

When Life Hands You Lemons

So, you know what? I'm HAPPY!!!! And, there is nothing that anyone or anything can do about it. Noone is going to get to me today. This is my new mindset and this is how I feel.

You see, we were SUPPOSED to be moving this Thursday (4 days) and now, well, were not. So, you know what? Thats OKAY! We are going to make the best of it. Here is what happened.

First off, as you all know, Hubby lost his job back in January becuase this stupid MORON who called herself his "manager" basically needed someone to blame for like an 800 audit that she received. Since she hated my hubby already due to personal reasons which we will NOT get into here, she fired him. He has been on unemployment ever since.

Well, he was recenetly given a job at a place that I actually used to work and we knew that he was only days away from getting a job when we made the decision to move becuase it had been so long and he had so many jobs leads at this point. Well, they decided to call us A WEEK BEFORE WE ARE SUPPOSED TO MOVE and tell us that they had reconsidered bc of our income and Stacy having lost his job. This would have been okay, mind you, if they had said something BEFORE having us sign a pre-lease, call vectren and cabel, and even pay our deposit. Heck, he had even transfered our renter's insurance. So, anyways, to make a long story short we are NOT moving and we are NOT RENTING FROM GOEBEL REALITY EVER AGAIN! Period. Those people are stupid. And, although I understand their reasons, NOTHING excuses going back on your word and causing me the hassell of cancelling things already in place for the move. PERIOD!

Needless to say... I was seriously upset and FURIOUS!

However, when life hands you lemons... MAKE LEMONADE!!!!! Haha.

Now, because of this we will be moving into the placed that I have DREAMED of living ever since I saw it and Hubby is only waiting on a background check for an AMAZING job opportunity and we are ALL SET. Haha. We are going to get on their reserves list soon (prolly next week) and get the ball rolling.

We are not, however, going to break this lease because of the money involved. Instead, we came up with a more producting way to spend the money. TURNING THE APARTMENT WE ARE IN NOW INTO THE APARTMENT WE WANT! We are talking new curtains, a loveseat, a new bed in the second bedroom (Evan's room) and even new dishes! I could not be more excited and I have already made up the list and did the budget. So, by the time we move, we truly will have it ALL. *Smiles*. I cannot wait. The only thing that sucks is that Hubby is having to work this job that he really doesn't want in the meantime until he starts the job he REALLY wants. But, it's all okay. I can't wait and I will be the happiest person alive in a few months when I am in my new HOME, let me tell ya.

Anyways, just wanted to update you all. Love you guys and keep on SMILING!!!!!!

Peace,
Heidi Hardin

Hey There, LadyBug

Ok, so the strangest thing happened at work last week. Lol. I went into work one day and I wasn't having the greatest day at all and was not in a very good mood. Well, I happened to see a Ladybug and it brightened my day. Haha. So... I decided to take it to my desk at work (after showing my boss) and watch it.

Obviously, after an hour or so, it was gone and I never saw it again for the rest of the day. I was kind of sad, but it still made me happy to see such a random thing inside of my work building.

I swear the smallest things amuse me. Haha.

Anyways, I went back to work the following day and on my way to work I made a random comment to my Hubby that I had hoped to see the Ladybug again that day and that it would make me laugh and be happy. :)

Well, I am sure you can see where I am going with this... but I went to work, put my things on my desk, used the restroom, and then went back to my desk and THERE IT WAS! The same one, I am sure. I know this because it was on my drink. What are the odds? Haha.

I just thought I would share my little bit of happiness with you. Maybe it can make you smile too?

Life is just SO RANDOM and Beautiful, isn't it?

With Love,
Heidi Hardin

Ice Cream

Oh, yea and just an FYI. The new Ice Cream place in the Evansville Mall (Scoops and Smoothie) is INCREDIBLE! Haha. I loved their cookie dough ice cream and Hubby loved the Butterfinger flavor. You all should TOTALLY try it.

Just be careful though, because when I got home, there were THREE transactions on my bank account from their debit machine. Lol. It got fixed and all, but the people weren't very professional about it when I called.

The Ice Cream, however, is AMAZING. I just wanted to share.

Again, LOVES!

Pure Marital BLISS

So, my life is incredible. Haha. But, you all knew that, right? Lol. I'm joking. But, honestly, I am so very UBER happy right now, I could BURST! Tehe. Here are all of the updates.

First off, after hubby and I decided that we were going to move to the East Side, we decided to go and talk to our rental office about breaking our lease, just as general information. We wanted to know if we would be fined or anything and how much, so that we could decide when we would be moving to the East Side. *Smiles*. Anyways, while we were there, our leasing agent (assistant property manager) tells us that a townhome that we looked into a few months back was still vacant and finally done being remodeled. So, as we are nice people, Haha, we decided to have a look. Let me tell you, there were SPARKLES in Hubby's eyes at all of the renovations and how amazingly beautiful this home was. We both, I think I can safely say, fell in LOVE at first sight.

So, where am I going with this? Well, MOVING DAY will be April 29th. Haha. NO JOKE! She pulled some strings to get us out of our lease and to work with us on getting our transfer fee down and we just couldn't resist. It fell into our lap right at the exact time that we happened to have the money to do it as well. *Smiles* (I can't stop), I am just so happy.

I will have a downstairs dining room and living room, kitchen, and TWO bathrooms that will have finished wood flooring that is BEAUTIFUL. There is a washer and dryer hookup (in which we are buying them ASAP) and a dishwasher. Now, I have NEVER had a dishwasher before. Can you just imagine how STOKED we are? Honestly.

Well, like I said, we are moving towards the end of the month. Vectren, Insight (Cable), and our renter's insurance are all set to be transferred and the pre-lease has been SIGNED! It's MINE! My new.... HOME!!!!! Yeys! Haha.

As you can tell, I am still very excited and happy about all of this. And, to make it all just THAT much better, Hubby probably has a job lined up because his uncle is getting him hired on and we have a prospective home for Abby in which she will have ACRES of land to run and play, which is EXACTLY what she needs. I hope that everything falls into place as I am praying that it will be AMAZING! Tehe.

I am not, however, saying that you shouldn't let me know if you are interested. She needs a home and we will gladly give her to whoever comes to us first. We just want what is best for her and love her. Plus, she is over the weight limit that we are allowed and when we got her, we didn't think she would be because we didn't know her true breed. Ya know? So, still let us know and keep an eye out if you would. Ok?

Well, I love you all but it's time for me to shower, eat, and then finish the rest of my shift at work tonight. I have been up early getting this all done and sleeping this afternoon. Comments?

Loves,
Mrs. Hardin
